Disaster Relief Gets Personal
The past few months have been travel-filled for ALAN. Spring conferences and workshops allowed us to see long-time supporters and make new friends. Partnering with business, government, and not-for-profit organizations provides many perspectives, but the common thread is always personal relationships. Thanks to all of you who took time to introduce yourselves and talk about how we can work together to make our communities and our nation more resilient. If we missed you this spring, look for us later this year, or contact us anytime.

Capabilities Mapping to Speed Relief Efforts
A new capabilities mapping tool will enable ALAN to geographically target companies with the potential to provide necessary resources during disasters, helping to speed relief efforts. The project is funded by grants from The UPS Foundation and the Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program, Project on Supply Chain Resilience.

Muck RuckusMany Faces of ALAN
When the National Multiple Sclerosis Society needed transportation help for its 6.3-mile MuckRuckus MS event, they knew who to turn to: third-time presenting sponsor Suddath Global Logistics.

The Suddath team made moving two truckloads of equipment from California to Jacksonville look easy. In addition to transporting 29 obstacles used for the event, Suddath also had several teams participating in the two-day event. Together, they raised nearly $5,000!
