When the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center needed a way to get communications equipment shipped to Maui in order to help restore critical emergency telecommunications on Maui after 2023’s Lahaina fires, ALAN and in-kind donors immediately stepped up with contributed air transportation for items like communications hardware, internet connectivity gear, and weather radios.
They might not grace the cover of House Beautiful. However the eight Continest containers and four pallets of solar panels that ALAN and our donors helped deliver free of charge on behalf of our partners at Footprint Project in fall 2024 did a picture-perfect job of providing temporary shelter (and the equipment needed to power them) in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.

Shortly after COVID-19 relief efforts began, International Medical Corps needed a place near New York City to help store and stage supplies. ALAN found donated warehousing space and services for 32 containers’ worth of these materials – a critical donation that helped keep many area hospitals running during the start of the pandemic.
When ToolBank USA was looking for a way to get a truckload of donated tools to Port Arthur, Texas a year after Hurricane Harvey, ALAN and HaulFox were there to coordinate the free shipping needed – enabling rebuilding efforts to get started much more quickly.
