In 2016, dangerous contamination left more than 100,000 residents of Flint, Michigan without access to clean, safe drinking water. While many non-profits stepped up with critical donations of water and filters, the one thing they didn’t have was the ability to get either one of those things delivered – until ALAN and the logistics community stepped up.

Working with various transportation providers such as UPS, ODW Logistics, People’s Distribution, Wright Distribution/Logan Express, and Spartan Logistics, we were able to help the non-profit organization Feed the Children deliver enough bottled water to serve half of those 100,000 people for 10 days, which was long enough to get clean water filters delivered and installed.

ALAN is responding to the severe weather and tornadoes in the Midwest and Southeast. Visit our Situation Snapshot page to see current open cases or Request Support if you have a need.
